Creating worlds and bringing artistic visions to life has been the cornerstone of Rohit’s approach to story-telling. This dedicated approach led Rohit to explore animation in film, moving him overseas to Vancouver where he got his master’s degree in animation.
With two well received animated short films, Rohit further picked up tricks of the trade with a stint at Studio Eeksaurus assisting acclaimed director Suresh Eriyat. Rohit’s relentless passion for design seamlessly moved him into Production Design. Being committed to his ‘why’ in film-making, Production Design was an inevitable pitstop in Rohit’s journey, bringing him closer to his passion for creating worlds. Some of his notable works in this domain include Newton (2017), Song of Scorpions (2016), and The Fable (2023) to name a few, apart from the many high-end commercials ( for WhatsApp, Facebook, Bluestone, Kit Kat, Taco Bell, Vastrada, Vodafone, Titan Raga, OLX, Goibibo) that he has been a part of.
His journey in films has finally brought him closer to his childhood dream of directing films. Twelve years of experience with a deep knowledge and hands on experience in Film Animation and Production Design, Rohit is now moving towards direction opportunities in the short and long film formats.
Being an avid Formula 1 enthusiast, hadn’t the pull of film-making been greater, Rohit would have been making a living being a speed demon!
